Majin are an important part of the Dragon Ball universe, but they’re not as well-known as some of the more popular characters from the series. They’re usually portrayed as friendly, but they’re also extremely powerful and can easily defeat super Saiyans. In addition to their power, Majin are able to regenerate quickly and can use magic to manipulate the environment. This makes them a dangerous enemy for any opponent.
Majin have a unique ability to absorb other organisms, which gives them the ability to grow and heal quickly. They can also fuse together, which creates a larger form of themselves that is often more powerful than the original Majin. This ability is most commonly seen when Majin Buu fuses with Vegito to form a massive one-star dragon.
These abilities made Majin the perfect race for Veldanava to spread across the cosos, as it allowed him to expand his empire without risking the lives of his people. The Majin’s low tolerance for magicules and short lifespan make them a relatively small population, but they are also highly resilient and can produce offspring quickly.
Despite their seemingly indestructible nature, the Majin are quite vulnerable to a number of different factors, which is why they’re prone to mutations. For example, their skin is typically pink in color and can become gray as they age. They can also suffer from dehydration if they’re exposed to the elements for extended periods of time.
Majin have a strong connection to Hercules, as the former God of Strength was responsible for creating the species. Hercules gave the Majin the ability to procreate in order to provide his offspring with a home on Earth, and it was from this that many of the planet’s most powerful warriors were born.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse has delved into the history of the Majin, with Lord Slug and other NPCs suggesting that there was once a Majin homeworld that was destroyed by some unknown force. This has led many to speculate that there could be a separate race of Majin that predates the descendants of Kid Buu and Babidi.
Akira Toriyama used to work as a character and monster designer for the Dragon Quest video game series while working on Dragon Ball, which probably inspired some of their designs. For instance, Majin Vegeta is a fusion of a Majin and Final Form Frieza, with white hair, spiked Namekian-like ears, and a tail that resembles that of the final form of Frieza.
The Majin are a fun and fascinating race in Dragon Ball, and they’re sure to make an appearance in the future. With the new movie set to premiere in 2020, it’s likely that we’ll get even more insight into their origins and past. For now, though, here are 15 Things You Didn’t Know About Majin! MAIJIN
